President Prabowo Subianto recently emphasized a critical truth about leadership: dishonesty is invariably exposed,especially to those who serve directly under the individual in question.
He asserted that while a dishonest leader might attempt to deceive oversight bodies like the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) and the Supreme Audit Agency (BPK), concealing their actions from their team proves far more challenging.
Reflecting on his time in the military, Prabowo recalled a specific label applied to commanders found to be engaging in corrupt practices.
according to him, such leaders were derisively known as ‘Kapal Keruk’ – a term that carries lasting stigma.
