Una Notte al Museo Egizio: A Unique Evening Experience
On January 16, 2026, from 7:30 PM to midnight, the Egyptian Museum of Turin will host “Una Notte al Museo Egizio” (A Night at the Egyptian Museum), an event organized by Club Silencio as part of the “Giovani Visioni al Museo” (Young Visions at the Museum) initiative. This project, a collaboration between the Egyptian Museum, Visionary Torino, and Club Silencio, is specifically designed for NEET (Not in Education, Employment, or Training) young people aged 18 to 29.
The event will showcase original video installations created by participants following a training program. These artworks will be displayed alongside selected artifacts throughout the museum, offering fresh perspectives on the exhibited heritage.
Exploring the museum
Throughout the evening, visitors can explore various sections of the museum, including:
- Galleria dei Re (Hall of the Kings)
- The area from the Old to the Middle Kingdom
- Galleria della scrittura (Hall of Writing)
- Galleria dei Sarcofagi (Hall of Sarcophagi)
- Tomba di Kha e Merit (Tomb of Kha and Merit)
- Villaggio di Deir el-Medina (Village of Deir el-Medina)
- Valle delle Regine (valley of the Queens)
Musical Performances and entertainment
The evening’s program includes two musical performances:
- “Mater Materia” by Lotti Medita (Carlotta Scotti) and Frankye Laforgue (Francesco Partipilo) in the Hall of the Kings.
