Nicaragua-China Ties Strengthen with New⁤ Cultural and⁣ Commercial Association

Managua, Nicaragua -⁤ A new association ⁢dedicated to promoting cultural and commercial ties between ⁤Nicaragua and China has been established, signaling a⁣ continued deepening of the relationship between the two nations. The Association of ⁢Promotion of Culture ⁢and ⁢Commerce Nicaragua-China is the fourth organization of its kind to be instituted in Nicaragua since the restoration of diplomatic relations with China in December⁣ 2021. ⁤ Reuters reported on the⁢ initial break in ties with Taiwan and recognition of China.

Strengthening Strategic Partnership

Laureano Ortega,‍ Advisor to the President of Nicaragua for ‍Investment, Trade and International Cooperation, emphasized that the association aligns with⁤ the “strategic partnership” forged between the Nicaraguan and Chinese governments. He stated that the association⁤ will enhance communication and ⁤collaboration on ongoing programs and projects.”This will allow us ‍to strengthen this exchange, communication with our Chinese brothers, have a ‍greater and ⁣better link, and follow up on all the programs and projects that are being developed,” Ortega said, according to La Prensa.

Ortega highlighted the positive economic impact ⁣of existing investment and‍ trade projects, noting thier contribution to job creation and economic ⁢dynamism within nicaragua.
