SENASA Oversees Animal Health and Welfare ⁤at Neuquén Livestock Exhibition

The National Food Safety and quality Service (SENASA) conducted sanitary and welfare checks on animals participating in the 15th patagonia Horse Exhibition held in ⁣Junín de⁣ los andes,Neuquén. the oversight ensured⁢ the safe movement of livestock and compliance with national regulations.

Animal Movement⁤ and Sanitary Controls

SENASA agents from the Regional⁣ Patagonia North Centre supervised the entry and exit of animals during the exhibition. A total of 142 horses, 56 sheep, 24 cattle, ‍and 8 goats where registered, adhering to the guidelines outlined in Resolution No. 421/2025.

All animal movements were verified with ⁢the corresponding electronic Transit Document ⁤(DT-e),⁤ health certificates, health booklets, and proof of mandatory vaccinations, as required by species. Furthermore,compliance with Resolution⁤ No. 723/2025 and Resolution No. 806/
