SENASA Oversees Animal Health and Welfare at Neuquén Livestock Exhibition
The National Food Safety and quality Service (SENASA) conducted sanitary and welfare checks on animals participating in the 15th patagonia Horse Exhibition held in Junín de los andes,Neuquén. the oversight ensured the safe movement of livestock and compliance with national regulations.
Animal Movement and Sanitary Controls
SENASA agents from the Regional Patagonia North Centre supervised the entry and exit of animals during the exhibition. A total of 142 horses, 56 sheep, 24 cattle, and 8 goats where registered, adhering to the guidelines outlined in Resolution No. 421/2025.
All animal movements were verified with the corresponding electronic Transit Document (DT-e), health certificates, health booklets, and proof of mandatory vaccinations, as required by species. Furthermore,compliance with Resolution No. 723/2025 and Resolution No. 806/
