Released as part of a fifth-anniversary collection, the $299 Viture Pro 2 XR glasses bring notable hardware upgrades—including 1,600 nits of peak brightness and a 20% weight reduction down to 63g—while undercutting the first-generation launch price.
Video glasses are dropping in price while improving in core specifications. That figure marks a significant price drop compared to the first-generation Viture Pro, which debuted at $459.
The new pricing model places Viture’s hardware directly on par with competing devices in the extended reality market. Similar offerings include products from RayNeo, such as the RayNeo Air 4 Pro, and Xreal’s subbrand X by Xreal, which produces the a01+, according to the same reporting.
Display Upgrades and Physical Reductions in the Viture Pro 2
Despite the lower retail cost, Viture equipped the Pro 2 with hardware improvements across visual performance and physical build. According to Viture, the glasses reach a peak brightness of 1,600 nits, a substantial increase over the previous generation’s 1,000-nit rating. The company also integrated what it calls UltraClarity 3.0, designed to improve sharpness and minimize visual distortion.
On the physical side, the Viture Pro 2 clock in at 63g, making them 20% lighter than their predecessors. Viture states that these are the thinnest glasses the company has released to date. While shedding weight and thickness, the device preserves a resolution of 1,920 x 1,080 per eye and expands the field of view slightly from 46 degrees on the previous model to 50 degrees on the Pro 2.
Retained Features and Availability
The hardware retains specialized accessibility options from earlier iterations. A diopter adjustment dial sits on the side of the glasses, allowing users to modify the focus to match individual eyesight. Viture notes that this built-in adjustment can help most nearsighted users bypass prescription inserts entirely. Additionally, the glasses maintain support for 3DoF through the companion application SpaceWalker.
