Meta Launches AI-Powered Creator Studio App for iOS in US and Canada

Meta is untangling its creator ecosystem from the web-based dashboards of the past, officially releasing a dedicated Creator Studio app for iOS users in the United States and Canada. The release follows a limited beta test that began in June and culminated in an August 12 wider rollout.

Now, individual creators managing a Facebook Page for personal brand or entertainment purposes have a dedicated mobile space, avoiding ad campaign management tools sitting three taps away from their post analytics.

AI Assistant and Daily Priorities Drive the New iOS App

Built directly into the software is Meta’s Creator Assistant. Instead of forcing creators to sift through charts and dashboards, the assistant answers specific performance questions such as When should I post? and What are people saying in my comments? Creators can also ask follow-up questions.

Beta testers reported measurable gains from these features during the initial testing period. For example, Michael Tushouse, who runs family and STEM content as The Tus House, noted that the AI assistant identified a DIY games angle in his material that was working well. Doubling down on that recommendation helped him up my earnings by 144% in the first 7 days of following the guidance.

Another creator, Mymanabites, used the app’s Creators to Learn From feature to surface a high-performing video format in her food and wellness niche. Trying that same format brought in 82% of my audience from non-followers and added 4,000 new followers from a single video.

Automated Comment Management and Voice-Matching Tools

Managing replies at scale is a persistent challenge for anyone running an active Facebook page. To ease that friction, the new app includes an AI-powered comment tool that surfaces the most important remarks and drafts replies designed to match the creator’s own voice.

Creators retain final control, editing and approving the suggested text before publishing. For motorcycle content brand Mad Maxy, who stated he had never been big on responding to comments before, the tool proved to be a HUGE, huge time-saver that added a whole new level of engagement to his account.

Parenting creator Becky Bee found that the effect extended far beyond individual replies. After she began responding to more comments on her Reels, she noticed the increased engagement spilled over to her text posts as well, describing the shift with the observation that the conversations continue.

Meta’s Broader Standalone App Strategy and Dashboard Splits

The Creator Studio launch is part of a broader product spree by Meta aimed at keeping creators active on Facebook as it competes for attention against rivals like TikTok and YouTube. In recent weeks, Meta also rolled out a dedicated Seller app for Facebook Marketplace, tested an AI-powered children’s story creator called StoryKit, and released a Groups app called Forum alongside a disappearing-photo app called Instants.

Alongside the standalone iPhone app, which requires iOS 18.0 or later and is 286.2 MB, Meta is splitting its existing Professional Dashboard into two separate experiences: a Creator Dashboard focused on creator tools and analytics, and a Business Dashboard for commercial users. A native Mac version requiring macOS 15.0 and an Apple M1 chip or later is also available.
