This Thursday a new homicide was recorded in La Serena. During the afternoon, a Colombian citizen was stabbed outside the La Serena bus terminal, on Alberto Solari with Amunategui.
According to preliminary information, it was a fight with a knife between at least two people. The victim was taken to the hospital in the regional capital, where she died as a result of her injuries.
The prosecutor on duty ordered the attendance of the PDI Homicide Brigade to the scene of the events.
In the words of Subprefect José Cáceres, Head of the La Serena Homicide Brigade “a few moments ago the macro-zone Prosecutor requested the attendance of our team along with criminalistics experts, specifically at the La Serena Hospital since a citizen was admitted in the afternoon Colombian with short puncture wounds who later died in the health facility.
“At this moment, scientific and technical work is being carried out at the scene of the incident together with the experts and the criminal doctor, in order to clarify the facts,” he stated.
