Most recently 20-year-old Elliott from Skellefteå was held on November 28, 2023.

It was a blizzard when he was seen leaving work at around 3.30pm and traveling north in his car, a dark gray Volvo S80.

His mobile phone was then “pinged” in the area around Jävre, about six miles north of Skellefteå, but then the tracks stopped.

Several searches have been carried out, but the mystery of what happened to the 20-year-old is still unsolved.

– The problem with this investigation is that there have been no leads at all, there have also been no tips and no one has seen the car, says Elliott’s mother Anna Larsson and continues:

– On the one hand it has been quite mysterious, but at the same time it is quite logical as there has been an enormous amount of snow up here. We believe that the car has been buried in snow somewhere and that there was therefore no way to find him.

About 30 cars will participate

She notes that the snow is now melting, which gives hope of getting answers to what happened to Elliott.

– For us as a family, it has been a long winter, but now we have regained hope of finding him and thus finding out what has happened.

Due to the more favorable weather conditions have Missing People planned a search this Sunday.

– We have searched sporadically since the disappearance and even had help from the air, but we have had the snow against us. There is still snow here but it has fallen away and we hope that it will continue even more until Sunday, says Martin Persson, at Missing People.

He says that a so-called car search has been planned, and that around 30 cars will participate.

– We are incredibly grateful that so many volunteers want to come forward and help so that relatives can get closure. It will be really well searched in the area thanks to this.

The family also expresses its gratitude to everyone who participates.

– It really warms the heart that so many people want to help, says Anna Larsson.
