A municipal police officer was violently hit on Monday April 15 in Schiltigheim (Bas-Rhin), in the northern suburbs of Strasbourg, by a motorcyclist who was taking part in an urban rodeo, near a school.

The individual, who was participating in an urban rodeo, attempted to evade the authority of the police officer by charging at him, even though he had been ordered several times to stop his two-wheeler, on which he was coming and going at full speed, just near a school.
The scene, filmed and shared on social networks, was strongly commented on. “With complete impunity, this motocross thug crashes into a municipal police officer #Schiltigheim (67) to escape, even if it means risking killing him,” wrote ex-police unionist Matthieu Valet on the X platform.
In the images, we can also see a woman and her stroller on the sidewalk just a few meters from the impact between the biker and the police officer who was violently hit.
A few minutes later, the individual, a 17-year-old minor, was apprehended and taken into custody at the Strasbourg police station.
For his part, the police officer was transported to hospital and suffered several bruises as well as a broken wrist, the police source adds to CNEWS.
