The health benefits of regular physical activity are proven, regardless of age and gender. Conversely, inactivity and sedentary lifestyle are among the biggest health risks in Western societies (cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, obesity, cancer colon, high blood pressure, depression, etc.).

Yet, less than half of French people aged 15 to 75 achieve a level of physical activity favorable to health. Officially, organizations such as the WHO estimate that it is necessary to practice at least 150 minutes of physical activity per week, i.e. about 20-25 minutes per day.
