A student from an FJKM establishment in Ambohimangakely was the victim of an accident on her way home from school. She was hit by a truck while crossing the road.
A tragic accident plunged a family into grief on Thursday in Ambohimangakely. She lost her daughter, aged 11, who was crushed by a truck loaded with sand. The terrible tragedy occurred near Holcim, at 5:36 p.m., according to very precise information from the national gendarmerie.
The child, a student at a Reformed Church establishment (FJKM), located in the same town, was returning from school. She walked quietly before having to return to the other side of the road. Traffic was smooth.
The kid suddenly cut on a flat part. However, the heavy goods vehicle traveling more or less quickly was approaching at that time. The driver tried to brake to spare him, but it was too late. She was knocked over and found herself under the wheel of the vehicle.

The truck was stopped at the scene of the accident. An ambulance from the commune of Ambohimangakely came to pick up the injured woman and transport her to the hospital in a state of absolute emergency. Alas, she could not be saved.
His family, deeply grieving, brought his lifeless body with his scattered notebooks and his schoolbag home to Betafo, where a wake then took place.
