A Chinese woman accused of converting Bitcoin into cash and property to help conceal the proceeds of a £5 billion ($6.3 billion) scam in Britain was arrested on money laundering charges following a hearing in a London court this week.
Prosecutors, Wen Jian He said that the woman named helped conceal the source of the money allegedly stolen from approximately 130 thousand Chinese investors between 2014 and 2017.
