AAP Leader Lucky Oberoi Shot Dead in Jalandhar: A Developing Story
Jalandhar, Punjab – Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader, Lucky Oberoi, was fatally shot in Jalandhar earlier today. The incident occurred outside Gurudwara Sahib in Model Town, where Oberoi was reportedly parking his car when he was attacked by assailants on a motorcycle.

In a post on X, Bajwa stated that the daylight murder exposed a grim reality, questioning the safety of ordinary citizens if even ruling party leaders are vulnerable. He further accused Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann of presiding over a state gripped by fear, gang violence, and administrative paralysis.
BJP spokesperson Shehzad Poonawalla also weighed in, declaring a “complete collapse of law and order” in Punjab. He characterized the AAP as detrimental to the state following the incident.
