A traffic accident took place on Tuesday evening on Aurel Vlaicu Street in Cluj-Napoca. According to the police, a pedestrian who crossed the street through an unauthorized place was allegedly hit by a car.

“Road accident occurred on May 7, around 9:30 p.m., on Aurel Vlaicu street in Cluj-Napoca.

From the preliminary investigations, it was found that a man who, as a pedestrian, would have engaged in crossing the street through an unmarked and unmarked “crossing for pedestrians”, was injured by a car driven in the direction of Traian Vuia Street, by a young man 29 years old, from Maramureș county”, reports IPJ Cluj.

The driver was tested with the breathalyzer, the result was negative. The pedestrian could not be tested on the spot, being taken over by a medical crew. Investigations are being carried out to establish his identity.
