Google Play Points Now Available in Google Wallet & Diamond Valley Returns
Google Play Points just got a convenient upgrade, and a popular in-app game is back with exciting prizes. These updates enhance your Play Points experience and offer new ways to engage with the Google Play ecosystem. Let’s dive into the details.
Play Points in Your Wallet: A Speedy Glance
You can now find your Play Points as a digital pass directly within Google Wallet, nestled alongside your credit and debit cards. This pass prominently displays the Google Play logo and clearly shows your current status – Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, or Diamond.
The full-screen view provides a streamlined overview of your points. It features your total Play Points balance and the current year. Below that, you’ll find a clear explanation of how many points you earn for every dollar spent. A progress bar visually represents how close you are to reaching the next tier. Tapping “Open Play Points” will take you directly to the Google Play Points page.
Adding Play Points to Your Wallet: A Simple Guide
Adding your Play Points to Google Wallet is straightforward. Here’s how:
- Navigate to the Play Points page and locate the “Perks” tab.
- Find the “Add Play Points to your Wallet” card and tap it.
- Tap “Add to Google Wallet.”
- Within Google Wallet, sign in to your account (or select it if you’re already signed in) and tap “Add.”
- Your Play Points data will now be accessible as a dedicated card in your Google Wallet.
Tapping the three-dot menu within the Google Wallet card reveals valuable details. You can view your membership start date and access links to your Play Points history and level benefits. Options to archive or remove the pass are also available.
