Amazon EC2 G7e Instances Now Available with AMD EPYC Processors
Amazon Web Services (AWS) has announced the general availability of G7e instances, powered by 3rd Gen AMD EPYC processors. These instances are designed for compute-intensive workloads, offering a balance of performance, cost, and energy efficiency. Amazon SageMaker AI is also coming soon.
Availability and Regions
G7e instances are currently available in the US East (N. Virginia) and US East (Ohio) AWS Regions. To check regional availability and future expansion plans, users can search for the instance type within the CloudFormation resources tab of AWS Capabilities by Region.
