Andy Cohen Reveals Jillian Michaels Screamed at Staff,Explains Why She Won’t Return to ‘Watch What Happens Live‘
Andy Cohen,the host of Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live,recently shared a story detailing a contentious post-show encounter with fitness expert Jillian Michaels,effectively ruling out any future appearances by the Biggest Loser trainer on his program. The revelation came during an interview with Entertainment Weekly on January 27th, shedding light on a decade-old incident and a long-standing feud.
Cohen recounted that after Michaels’ 2013 appearance on WWHL alongside Melissa Rauch, she became “furious” and began “screaming” at his staff following the taping. “I should watch it back, if I cared,” Cohen stated, adding, “I don’t see what she was upset about.” He firmly stated that such behavior is a dealbreaker, explaining, “If you scream at my staff, that’s kind of it for me.”
This incident is just one chapter in a public disagreement between the two personalities. Michaels has been openly critical of cohen and his work, particularly the Real Housewives franchise, which Cohen produces. In a 2018 interview with Life & Style, she expressed her disdain for the show, stating, “I hate that sht… I hate watching women tear each other apart. Anybody who watches it, shame on you.” She further suggested the series was “created by someone that hates women… I mean, the guy hates them. He’s an ahole.”

She stated, “We’ve not been friendly for years… Like in all the years I’ve been doing this, nothing like this has ever happened.”
Adding fuel to the fire, Cohen also referenced Michaels’ controversial comments regarding slavery made during a 2025 appearance on CNN newsnight With Abby phillip, sarcastically remarking, “She seems to be the leading expert on slavery somehow.”
Given this history of conflict and the reported outburst directed at his team, Cohen indicated that a reconciliation and subsequent appearance by Michaels on Watch What Happens Live is highly unlikely, stating, “I don’t think there’s a market for her to return [and] I don’t think she would come.”
