Several neighborhoods in the urban district of Zango 1, 2, 3 and 4, as well as centrality 8000, in the municipality of Viana, have been deprived of normal electricity supply since 10 pm this Sunday, due to an anomaly recorded on a pole high voltage.
Due to the situation that occurred at the Viana electrical substation, owned by the Rede Nacional de Transportes Company (RNT), residents of the aforementioned neighborhoods speak of the difficulties caused by the lack of electricity in the area and call on ENDE to resolve the situation as soon as possible.
In statements to Radio the spokesperson for the National Electricity Distribution Company, Lauro Fortunato, assured that technicians have already been on the ground since the early hours of this morning, and said that “everything is being done to urgently restore the energy supply to the areas affected.”
