Apple Vision Pro: Revolutionary mixed reality headset impresses testers, but high price remains a point of criticism.

After Apple announced the Vision Pro last June, the mixed reality headset has finally hit the market. The Apple Vision Pro has been available for pre-order since January 19th of this year and has now been officially sold successfully in the USA since February 2nd. During this period, Apple is said to have sold over 200,000 devices and thus brought in over $700 million.

Apple Vision Pro is a revolutionary AR/VR headset that provides users with an immersive experience and allows users to interact with digital objects in the physical world. The first testers are enthusiastic about the new hardware. “The experience dwarfs everything else,” writes Todd Haselton of the business and financial news channel CNBC.

There is already speculation about what working and video chats will look like in the future thanks to Apple’s Vision Pro. The testers praise the new technology and the diverse application possibilities that the glasses offer. However, there are also points of criticism, especially the high price of US$3,499, which scares off many potential buyers. The testers agree that the Vision Pro will remain a niche product as long as the price is not significantly reduced. Some testers also complained about difficulties using the virtual keyboard. Nevertheless, testers see the Vision Pro as a groundbreaking product that could shape the future of computer use. The powerful hardware, the M2 chip and the impressive display technologies are also praised. The wearing comfort and battery life are also rated positively, although the headset is a bit heavy at around 600 grams and includes an external battery.

Overall, the testers are impressed with the Apple Vision Pro mixed reality glasses, but still see room for improvement, especially in terms of price. Many assume that this is an initial test and that more advanced and more affordable models will come onto the market in the coming years.
