PROMISES LONG TRIPS – Very close cousin of the Porsche Macan, the new one Audi Q6 e-tron brings the new one to its debut PPE platform for electric cars also on an Audi model. Thanks to one drums lithium ion battery composed of twelve modules and 180 cells with a net capacity of 94.9 kWh, the new d-suv can count up to 625 km of autonomy, a value destined to increase with a future long-distance variant. If that wasn’t enough, thanks to the 800 volt voltage and the recharge in direct current fino and 270 kW (standard), in optimal conditions the Q6 is able to recover 255 km of autonomy in ten minutes.

THE COCKPIT AT THE CENTRE – In a length of 4.77 metersl’Audi Q6 e-tron offers a wheelbase of 2.90 m which promises ample rear space and a load capacity ranging from 526 to 1,529 liters (to which is added a further 64 liters available in the compartment under the front bonnet). In the design of the electric SUV, a specific approach was followed new approach, which goes from the inside to the outside, therefore defining first the passenger compartment and then the design of the bodywork, which remains in line with that of other models of the Ingolstadt brand. The cabin of the Q6 revolves around the Audi Digital Stage which consists of the instrument panel 11.9-inch digital display, head-up display with augmented reality and curved screen of the 14.5-inch infotainment system with OLED technology. INSTANTLY THE SPORTEST – At its debut, scheduled for July, theAudi Q6 e-tron It will be available in two versions, both with electric all-wheel drive. The version considered basic can count on one power maximum of 387 CV and 535 Nm of torque, which allow it to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 210 km/h. Then there is a sportier variant, called SQ6 e-tron,which brings the power to 517 CV and torque at 820 Nm in boost mode: performance increases accordingly, with 0-100 covered in 4.3 seconds and a peak speed of 230 km/h. Two variants with rear-wheel drive only will also arrive later: the aforementioned one with extended autonomy and another with lower power. The entry level Audi Q6 costs money 79.500 eurowhile the SQ6 starts from 97.200 euro.

MORE TORQUE BEHIND – Like its Porsche-branded cousin, theAudi Q6 e-tron promises high levels of dynamism thanks to new chassis solutions. For the first time in the history of the brand, the lower control arms at the front are in a more forward position than the swing arms, thus promoting freedom of positioning of the battery and torsional resistance. By doing so, it was possible to attach the steering rack to a specific subframe. The distribution of torque contributes to the dynamism, favoring thrust from the rear axle.

CHARGING FINDS YOU – With the’Audi Q6 e-tronthe German company tries to make life easier for its customers with the service that the brand defines as “charging on demand on location”: in the cities where the service will be active, the customer will not need to look for an available charging station, but will the staff of E-Gap (a company specializing in mobile charging) to intervene with their vans for recharge the car in the place where it is located. And in the event that they have to face a long journey, or go to areas poorly served by infrastructure, Q6 customers will be able to ask for a hybrid Audi for 15 days a year, forgetting about charging problems for that period.
