There has been another brutal attack in Sydney – after a shopping mall, this time at a church. The attacker was caught on video.

The AFP agency wrote that among the wounded from today’s attack is a clergyman and other believers who participated in the service. According to medics quoted by AFP, four people were injured, none of whom are life-threatening.
The agency specified that the incident took place in Walkley, about 30 kilometers from the center of Sydney. The arrested man is cooperating with the investigation, police said in a statement.
The Saturday attacker was shot dead
On Saturday, 40-year-old Joel Cuachi stabbed six people at a shopping center near Sydney’s Bondi Beach. The policewoman who was chasing him then shot him dead. Australian police said today that the attacker, who had long-term mental health problems, appeared to have targeted women.
Five of the six victims of Saturday’s attack were women, as were most of the 12 injured. “It’s clear to me and to the detectives that the offender targeted women and avoided men,” Karen Webb, the police commissioner of Australia’s New South Wales state, said on television. “The footage says it all, right? It’s definitely a line we’ll be investigating.” added the commissioner.
Cauchi tended to avoid men. The only man killed in Saturday’s attack worked as a mall security guard. He was a Pakistani man who came to Australia as a refugee last year. According to AFP, the victims include a Chinese student, the mother of an infant who is in a serious condition in hospital, and a fashion designer.
