Babychou Services has announced a series of recruitment events in northern France, aiming to fill more than 50 childcare positions ahead of the 2026 school year. The French domestic childcare network is organizing two targeted job dating sessions in Lille and Lambersart to connect local job seekers with families needing flexible in-home support, according to company announcements.
The recruitment drive arrives as families across the Lille metropolitan area prepare their schedules for the autumn term.
The first recruitment session is scheduled for Friday, August 21, 2026, running from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Lille agency located at 100 bis boulevard de la Liberté. A second session will take place on Friday, September 11, 2026, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Lille Ouest agency situated at 458 avenue de Dunkerque in Lambersart.
Who Can Apply for the Childcare Roles
The upcoming job datings are open to a broad spectrum of applicants who possess verified prior experience working with children. Organizers have indicated that the profile pool includes university students, apprentices, early childhood professionals, family auxiliaries, retirees, and individuals with backgrounds in youth animation or recreational leadership.
Candidates attending either location are advised to bring an updated curriculum vitae. Upon arrival, applicants can review available posts for the academic year and complete a candidacy form to indicate which missions match their preferences and geographic convenience. Each participant then sits down for an individual interview with a recruitment officer to discuss their background, skills, and weekly availability.
Daily Missions and Sought-After Time Slots
The openings involve various in-home responsibilities tailored to support working households. Recruited sitters typically pick up children from school, provide afternoon snacks, oversee homework sessions, lead games and creative activities, manage bath time, and prepare dinner.
The agency notes that the most heavily requested scheduling windows run from 7 a.m. to 9 a.m., from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and during Wednesdays, which feature modified school schedules in France. Schedules remain flexible and can often be adjusted to align with a worker’s personal timetable or ongoing studies.
Registration remains mandatory for attendees wishing to secure an interview slot at either the Lille or Lambersart venues. Applicants can visit the official Babychou Services portals to complete their registration ahead of the August and September dates.
