Banca Transilvania and CEC Bank are the most sought-after financial-banking units in Romania. BT is also the largest employer in the banking sector, with over 9,100 employees.
Banca Transilvania and CEC Bank are the main financial institutions preferred by Romanian customers, thanks to their various offers and services. The Banking News portal has carried out an analysis regarding the salaries obtained by the employees of the main banks in Romania.

If we refer strictly to the level of assets, we find that Banca Transilvania is the largest financial-banking institution in the country and also the largest employer in this sector, with over 9,100 employees. The second and third places are occupied by BRD Groupe Societe Generale and CEC Bank with 5,833 and 5,310 employees respectively.
When it comes to salaries in the banking system, CEC Bank employees have the lowest salaries. At the opposite pole are Banca Transilvania and ING Bank, which pay their staff somewhat higher remunerations. For example, the salary offered by CEC Bank, approx. 7,700 gross lei is twice less than that received by an employee from the head office of ING Bank.

What salaries do employees who work in the banking system earn
First Bank, Libra Internet Bank, Garanti BBVA or Intesa Sanpalo Bank also pay their employees well. Their salaries are close to those of the staff working for Banca Transilvania or UniCredit Bank.
The average gross monthly salary at BT is 12,715 lei, while at the Romanian Commercial Bank the average remuneration is 13,072 lei, and at BRD 10,604 lei. ING pays its employees 15,000 lei, and Raiffeisen Bank offers salaries of just over 11,400 lei.

And the employees working at Vista Bank get good income, the remuneration is 14,485 lei, while at Exim Bank the average gross salaries reach about 13,000 gross lei. In fact, ING is the leader on the labor market when it comes to salaries, according to Bankingnews.
