BASKETBALL – Madagascar begins against Mauritius

The first Games of the Association of National Olympic Committees of Africa (Acnoa) of Zone 7, reserved for athletes under 18 years old, girls and boys, began yesterday, and ended on May 11, in Seychelles. Madagascar with its twenty-five athletes compete in four disciplines.

In the 3×3 basketball discipline, Madagascar is represented by two national teams, men’s and women’s. For the girls, Madagascar begins against Mauritius from 1:50 p.m. for the first match, before facing Comoros at 3:10 p.m. To end the first day, the Ankoay U18 girls will challenge the local players from Seychelles, starting at 4:10 p.m.

For the boys, Madagascar faces Mauritius from 2:30 p.m., before continuing against the Comoros at 3:50 p.m. To complete the first day, the Ankoay U18 boys will fight against the Seychellois from 4:50 p.m.
