Bastos Quissanga shines in Botafogo’s triumph against Flamengo in the Brasileirão –

The Angolan international, Bastos Quissanga, continues to spread his good form with Botafogo and, this Sunday, he helped his team beat Flamengo, 0-2, at the Maracanã Stadium, in a game related to round 4 of Brasileirão.

Launched into the starting line-up by coach Artur Jorge, Bastos was once again a solid player in his team’s defensive quartet, which remained inviolable until the end of the Rio derby.

Imperial in direct duels with his opponents, Bastos had an impeccable performance in Botafogo’s defense, being considered best player of the match.

With a zero draw at half-time, the Whites’ goals only came in the second half, through Luís Henrique (at 53′) and Savarino (at 90+3′).

The international for Palancas de Negras has played a total of 15 games for the Brazilian team this season, of which 10 in the Campeonato Carioca, 4 in the Brasileirão and one in the Libertadores, totaling 1168 minutes on the field.

With this triumph, Botafogo rises to the leadership of the Brasileirão, adding 9 points, while Flamengo falls to 5th place with 7.
