PYONGYANG – The battlefield in Ukraine has long been a “graveyard” for various weapons that the United States (US) and NATO are proud of.

North Korean Deputy Foreign Minister in charge of Russian affairs Im Chon Il revealed this on Wednesday (24/4/2024).

“The Ukrainian battlefield has long been a ‘graveyard’ of weapons that the US and NATO are proud of,” the official said in a statement published by North Korea’s state news agency, KCNA.

The deputy secretary of state added the additional bill with nearly $61 billion in Ukraine-related funding, passed by the US House of Representatives on Saturday, “is just a moment of relief to support (Ukrainian President Volodymyr) Zelensky who is gripped by fear due to his position. getting worse on the battlefield and making it tilt at windmills.”

The North Korean official also called Zelensky “a star who played his role well according to a movie script written by the US, not the president of a country.”

He added that Zelensky’s statements about his desire to continue the fight against Russia “cannot but be seen as sheer hysteria from a ‘Don Quixote in the 21st century’ who doesn’t care at all about his opponents.”

The deputy secretary of state also said, “No amount of US military aid to Ukraine can ever hinder the progress of the heroic Russian army and people who are waging a holy war to protect their country’s sovereign rights and security.”
