There is sad news from the world of Hollywood acting. Bernard Hill, this British actor is reported to have died. This was confirmed directly by his agent, Lou Colson.

“Hill passed away early Sunday morning,” said Colson when confirming the actor’s death as reported by APNews, Monday (6/5/2024).

Bernard Hill is known for his role as Theoden, King of Rohan who led his people to war in the trilogy The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King. He is also known for his iconic role in sinking with his ship as the captain in the film Titanic.

However, until now there has been no explanation as to what caused the actor to die.

Hill shows his abilities in the world of acting seriously. In The Lord Of The Rings, in the second film of the trilogy, Hill, as King of Rohan, on his horse exerts all his strength to deliver a war cry that makes his troops slide down the hill to attack his enemy.

“Arise, arise, knights of Théoden!” Hill shouted to his troops.

Then, the following year, Hill won 11 Oscars for his role as King Rohan in the third trilogy of The Lord of the Rings: Return of the King.

Hill is also known for playing roles in television series, such as Yosser Hughes, an unemployed man whose life falls apart in Alan Bleasdale’s Boys from the Blackstuff in the 1980s, and his most recent role, as the Duke of Norfolk in the BBC adaptation of Hilary Mantel’s Wolf Hall .
