Gold band singer Boaz Kok has become the father of daughter Kees. He said this on Thursday prior to the 3FM Awards in The Hague.
“It’s fantastic, the most beautiful baby ever,” he said on the green carpet of the award show. “I don’t know what else to say about it, already a crazy bitch.” The girl is named after Boaz’s father. The name is also inspired by the character Kees from Flodder, played by Tatjana Šimić.
Kok called his girlfriend Loes at the event to ask if he could reveal the name. “Because of the GDPR,” joked Goldband colleague Karel Gerlach.
The trio is not completely complete during the ceremony, Milo Driessen was missing. However, Kok and Karel Gerlach, who says he is still very happy with Maan, had brought a replacement. The yet unidentified man wore Milo’s famous sunglasses and a shirt with the text ‘I am Milo’.
