Bridget Maasland (49) decided last year to drastically change course and improve her lifestyle. The pounds flew off and her teenage son Mees son also got a taste for it. The presenter shares the transformation of both of them on Instagram.
A video shows mother and son working up a sweat by doing push-ups. “What an amazing journey we were able to take with you. One that would never have become as beautiful as it is today without your patience, rock-solid confidence and infectious enthusiasm,” Maasland writes on Instagram with a photo of the two. Both herself and her son have a six-pack.
She thinks it is ‘extra special’ that they did this together. “We will never forget this. He knows what a healthy basis is, in terms of nutrition and training, and he will benefit from this for the rest of his life. This very proud mother is eternally grateful to you for that.”
In August, Maasland announced that she had had her breast implants removed. “I did it. After 25 years I have my own natural breasts again,” she wrote.
