Capcom released the character creator for Dragon’s Dogma 2 before the release of the game itself. This allows users to create a character that can be transferred to the game once it is released.
The character creator can be downloaded for free on Steam, PS5 and Xbox Series S/X. It allows users to create and save up to five main characters. There are also five slots for Pawns, NPC partners that players can ‘lend’ to other players. Users can always return to the character creator to customize a character.
The created characters can be used in the game after release. Dragon’s Dogma 2 will be released on March 22, 2024. The game is a sequel to Capcom’s Dragon’s Dogma, an action RPG with fantasy and hack-and-slash elements that was released in 2012. The original game was positively received. Capcom announced in 2022 that it was working on a sequel.
