The⁣ artist shared his decision in a heartfelt Instagram post, revealing a sense of exhaustion after 13 years‍ on the road. He emphasized this⁢ isn’t a permanent ⁢farewell to ​music, but rather a necessary pause for personal rejuvenation.

“Alright everybody,​ I⁢ wasn’t sure whether I was gonna talk about this or not but here we are,” Rice began, acknowledging the weight of the declaration. “I’ve been touring‌ for 13 years and I’ve lived a dream far greater than‍ I could’ve ever expected.”

Rice was‍ swift to⁢ dispel any assumptions of a complete departure from the music industry. “This isn’t a goodbye thing or anything like‍ that to be clear upfront,even ‍though‍ it may feel like that,but I’m exhausted,” he clarified.
