Oswego woman Fatally Attacked; Ex-husband in Custody
Oswego,NY – January 29,2026 – A woman was found deceased in her Oswego home on tuesday afternoon after her husband witnessed a man,believed to be her ex-husband,pursuing her into their garage via home surveillance footage.The suspect has been taken into custody by the Oswego Police Department.

At approximately 1:10 p.m. on January 28, 2026, police responded to a call at a residence on Valentine Way in Oswego. The husband reported observing, through his home security system, a man he identified as his wife’s ex-husband chasing her into the garage [3]. Preliminary Investigation
Initial investigations suggest the ex-husband followed the victim into the garage and assaulted her. A witness reported seeing a man fleeing the scene southbound across Wolfs Crossing road.
