The child of Jennifer Garner (51) and Ben Affleck (51) has revealed their new name during the funeral of Jennifer’s father. Wearing a black suit and a close-cropped haircut, the teen read a text that began with “Hello, my name is Fin Affleck.”
The family had gathered for the farewell of Jennifer Garner’s father. He died last week at the age of 85. During the commemoration, several grandchildren spoke. So did Garner and Affleck’s second child. The teenager read a text from the Bible, beginning with: “Hi, my name is Fin Affleck.”
Before then, it was not yet clear that Fin had chosen a different name. However, the teenager has been opting for gender-neutral clothing and a short haircut for some time now.
Garner and Affleck split in 2015. In 2022, Affleck married singer Jennifer Lopez. Her daughter, Emme Maribel Muniz, also uses gender-neutral pronouns and has identified as non-binary. According to good sources, Emme and Fin have become close.
