In four years, 50,000 copies of Citroën’s electric moped car, the Ami, have been sold all over Europe. Whether this includes the technically identical types of partner brands, that is Opel Rocks-e or the Fiat Topolino, we do not know. It is certain, however, that the Citroën Ami will continue its career with a renewed appearance and content from the end of May.

A new equipment level, Peps, is coming, which actually only differs from the previous ones in the nature of the color and graphic accessories. The edges of the headlights are black, a black strip runs under the windshield, the many blacks are contrasted by yellow stickers. At the back, a roof wing smuggles dynamism into the design – this is only self-delusion, since the top speed is 45 km/h, but it enhances the view.

Citroën seems to be discontinuing the production of the cargo version of the Ami (i.e. without a passenger seat), instead offering a Cargo package as an accessory, with which you can convert the two-seater Amit into a microvan at home, if that’s what you need. It consists of three main elements: one is a two-part panel that separates the driver’s side from the passenger’s side (or now the cargo area) like a screen. what we deliver should not be visible from the outside. We have 200 liters of luggage space under the tarpaulin, and 340 liters when it is removed.

The third novelty is the Night Sepia paint, which replaces the previous blue body color on the palette.
