This remarkable institution provides a safe haven, extensive education, and vital counseling services. Currently, 87 children call Benposta home, but the need is ever-growing, with new arrivals – some as young as 10 – constantly seeking sanctuary.

Juan, after a year spent within an armed group, found freedom thru the help of a former teacher. He’s now channeling his energy into a new passion: football,dreaming of a professional career.
Ana, having spent a year at Benposta, is focused on completing her education. She firmly believes that “war doesn’t lead to anything good,” a sentiment echoing the hopes of countless children affected by conflict.
