Complaint to RTÜK about Fatih Portakal and Cem Küçük from Galatasaray
“Despite the fact that the entire closed-circuit referee meeting was broadcast transparently by the Turkish Football Federation, some programs whose aim is to harm Galatasaray unfortunately insist on covering certain edited parts!
Although the facts are revealed; The ‘Good Morning Turkey’ program, moderated by Cem Küçük on TGRT News channel, did not see any harm in including and commenting on only the edited and purposely served part of the images published by TFF in its news content!
About TGRT Haber and Cem Küçük, who disregarded the principle of objective journalism and supported the perception operation carried out against Galatasaray; “Within the scope of the legal legislation regarding the fight against disinformation, necessary procedures have been initiated before RTÜK and relevant institutions.”

The following information was given regarding the complaint made by Galatasaray for Fatih Portakal:
“When the Turkish Football Federation transparently published the referee meeting video on March 26, 20024 at around 15.30, it became known to the public that the version served by other hands was organized with the sole purpose of harming Galatasaray.
About Sözcü TV and Fatih Portakal, who ignore the principles of press ethics and honest journalism by doing this and continue to act as a platform for a deliberate perception operation against Galatasaray; Necessary procedures have been initiated before RTÜK and relevant institutions. “We invite all Galatasaray fans to react against this biased and intentional behavior.”

Fatih Portakal responded to Galatasaray. Speaking on live broadcast, Fatih Portakal said, “They are going to complain about me and the channel. I don’t know what we are doing either. Our power is in our influence. That much is clear. No one can criticize our journalism. We are clean, we are doing our job, that’s all.
