Cuanza Norte: family members of young woman killed by her boyfriend set fire to the accused’s house –

The family members of a young woman who was allegedly beaten to death by her boyfriend, in the province of Cuanza Norte, decided to take justice into their own hands as they understood that the court decision was an act of partiality.

It all happened after the judge ordered the provisional release of the young man accused of killing his girlfriend through physical aggression.

Unhappy, the victim’s family destroyed and set fire to the residence of the young man allegedly involved in the process, as well as the two vehicles.

The group also vandalized the homes of other family members of the accused, placing some goods outside and setting them on fire. Not even the police, who had to fire shots into the air, were able to disperse them.

The young accused was hiding, in the company of his wife and three children, but they were unharmed. As a result of the incident, several individuals were detained.
