Liputan6.com, Jakarta – Scientists continue to explore outer space with various goals, one of which is to discover possibilities planet others that humans can inhabit. Even though there are many planets that can still be explored as places to live, it turns out there are a number of planets that are dangerous for humans.

These planets are considered quite dangerous because their conditions are not as friendly as Earth’s, for example the weather conditions are more extreme, the radiation is high, and there are big threats such as asteroids that could hit a planet. A number of these conditions are considered dangerous and threaten human life.

For this reason, these planets have never been recommended as an alternative to Earth. Launching the Science Alert page on Thursday (02/05/2024), the following planetsdangerous planet which scientists have discovered.

1. Venus

This neighboring planet to Earth is the deadliest planet in our solar system because of its clouds rich in sulfur dioxide. Additionally, the surface of Venus is dotted with volcanoes that emit large amounts of heat and carbon dioxide.

This makes the temperature of this planet reach 467 degrees Celsius. Uniquely, on Venus there is also a rain phenomenon like on earth.

But instead of liquid, it rains the metals galena and bismuthin and deadly sulfuric acid. Due to the planet’s high temperatures, rain never reaches the surface of Venus.

The droplets evaporated in the middle of the journey and turned back into hot clouds.

2. Proxima b

Proxima b is one of the planets orbiting the star Proxima Centauri. Centauri is a red dwarf star located 4.24 light years from Earth.

When this planet was first discovered, many scientists were optimistic that this planet could be inhabited. Because, this planet has water and properties similar to earth.

However, they soon realized that their guess was wrong. The location of Proxima b is too close to Proxima Centauri which causes this planet to have 4,000 times the solar radiation that reaches Earth.

Radiation in amounts this large is very dangerous for all types of living creatures.
