Death Stranding 3: A Concept Exists, But Don’t Expect It Soon
Hideo Kojima, the visionary creator behind the Death Stranding series, has revealed a concept already exists for a third installment. Though, despite having the foundation laid, he isn’t currently planning to develop Death stranding 3. this news emerged during the Death Stranding 2 World Strand Tour event held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.Kojima explained that Death Stranding 2 was designed as a conclusive finale to the narrative arc established in the first two games. He expressed a desire for another creative mind to perhaps bring his concept for Death Stranding 3 to life. “I already wrote the concept of DS3,so I have that in data,” he stated,”I hope that someone would create it for me.”
This isn’t the first time kojima has contemplated the future of his work beyond his own involvement. HeS been increasingly focused on ensuring the longevity of Kojima Productions, even after he’s no longer at the helm.
Previously, he detailed creating a digital “will” in the form of a USB drive.This drive contains a wealth of ideas intended to guide the studio’s future direction. He wants to ensure his studio continues to innovate and doesn’t simply rely on existing intellectual property.
