Decision was made in the Çorlu Train Massacre case

Families went to the hall and organized a march before the trial, which was held by the Çorlu 1st High Criminal Court and where 13 defendants were tried for “causing the death and injury of one or more people by negligence”.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and TİP Istanbul Deputy Ahmet Şık also came to Çorlu to follow the hearing.

Özgür Özel, who came together with the families who lost their relatives in the accident at İsmet İnönü Park before the hearing, said in his statement to the press that the resistance of mothers and families in Çorlu should be an example for all the oppressed and victimized.

Stating that they are following the case closely, Özel said, “My last word is this; we said last time that we will come much more determined, much stronger and much more crowded. The will of the people ensures this. On March 31, they said ‘stop’ to all kinds of injustice. Last time “Those who postpone the decision to go after the local elections should think again today,” he said.

“THIS WORK DOES NOT END HERE”

Özel noted that on March 31, the nation stood by the mothers who lost their babies in Çorlu.

Stating that the public will continue to stand by the oppressed and innocent from now on, Özel said, “No one should attempt to make a decision that portrays the dead as guilty and the guilty as innocent. This does not end here. I will not let go of those who make such decisions and those who violate the rights of little 3-year-old and 5-year-old puppies who died in a train accident.” spoke.
