SERANG, RADARBANTEN.CO.ID – Cases of dengue hemorrhagic fever (DBD) in Serang City have increased, now reaching 156 cases in 2024.

This data is based on records and the Serang City Health Service (Dinkes) from January to the end of February 2024.

Head of the Serang City Health Office, Ahmad Hasanudin, said that in January there were 44 cases of dengue fever, and in February there was a significant spike of 112 cases.

“There was an increase in dengue cases in January and February, in January throughout Serang City, there were hospitals. “There were 44 cases, while in February there were 112 cases of dengue fever,” he said, Friday 5 April 2024.

Apart from that, of the total 156 cases of residents affected by dengue fever, three people died.

“There were three people who died, clearly two children and one adult,” he said.
