MATCH PREVIEW

The Dolphins welcome back reigning Dally M centre of the year Herbie Farnworth for their clash against the Sea Eagles at Suncorp Stadium.

Farnworth has missed four games with a shoulder injury, with the Dolphins going 2-2 in his absence.

His return is a huge boost for a side still missing star prop Tom Flegler and x-factor Hamiso Tabuai-Fidow.

Despite the injury carnage, the Dolphins have been one of the surprise packets of the competition, with Wayne Bennett’s men sitting in fourth.

Their opponents tonight, the Sea Eagles, are one point back in fifth.

Manly welcome back Ben Trbojevic from a hamstring injury. He’ll slot into the second row alongside Corey Waddell.

Star back rower Haumole Olakau’atu is still one week from returning (suspension).

There has been some spice added to this fixture, with a source close to Bennett telling the WWOS that there is bad blood between the legendary Dolphins coach and Manly’s Anthony Seibold.

“Wayne doesn’t rate the bloke and it goes both ways,” a source told WWOS.

“They would both love to rub each other’s noses in it tonight with a win.”

The feud reportedly dates back to 2019, when Seibold replaced Bennett at the Broncos.
