“On March 4, 2024 at 03:47:51 (local time of Romania) a weak earthquake occurred in the Vrancea, Buzau seismic zone with a magnitude of ml 2.6, at a depth of 101.6 km”, announced the National Research Institute- Development for Earth Physics (INCDFP).

The earthquake occurred near the following cities: 50 km NW of Buzău, 63 km SE of Sfântu-Gheorghe, 64 km E of Brașov, 65 km W of Focșani, 66 km NE of Ploiesti, 96 km NE of Târgoviște, the National Institute stated of Research and Development for Earth Physics (INCDFP).
