Ellie Goulding’s marriage is over after just under five years. The British singer and her now ex-partner Caspar Jopling confirmed on their social media channels that they have been separated for ‘some time’.
Several tabloids previously reported that Goulding was spotted kissing her surf teacher. Goulding and Jopling appear to reference this in their posts on Instagram Stories. “In view of recent stories, I feel compelled to let you know that Caspar and I have been separated for some time,” Goulding writes. “We are still good friends and co-parent for the sake of our son.” The singer also says that she does not want to comment further.
37-year-old Goulding and 32-year-old art dealer Jopling married in August 2019. In 2021, the couple had their first child, named Arthur.
