Actress Emma Stone (35) wants people to use her real first name from now on. “I would really like people to use the name I was born with, that would be so nice,” he said.

Stone was born as Emily, but had to choose a different first name for her stage name because another ‘Emily Stone’ joined the actors’ union before her. The union’s rules state that two people cannot have the same stage name. She chose Emma, as a tribute to her childhood heroine Emma Bunton from the Spice Girls.
“But a few years ago I suddenly panicked because no one was using my real first name anymore,” the actress tells Hollywood Reporter. “For some reason I thought, ‘I can’t do it anymore’.” Since then, she says she asks people she meets to call her Emily. “I would love for people to use the name I was born with, that would be so nice. I would like to be Emily,” he said.
