Erdoğan approves duty-free wine
THE PROPOSAL WAS ACCEPTED WITH 273 VOTES FROM THE GOVERNMENT
The agreement signed between Azerbaijan and Turkey was turned into a bill and submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly. In the discussions held in the Parliament last week, the proposal was accepted with 273 votes from the government. A “Preferential Trade Agreement” was signed between the two countries on this subject.
10 YEAR ZERO TAX AGREEMENT
The agreement made between Türkiye and Azerbaijan will be valid for 10 years. Turkey will buy wine, mulberries, quince, iron and steel products and packaging materials from Azerbaijan with zero customs duty.
Turkey will send copper wire, washing machines, monitors, video recorders, motor vehicle parts and aluminum to Azerbaijan. Azerbaijan will not charge customs duty on these products.
