She realized this was her abuser’s last opportunity to inflict harm before she was moved, and he exploited every moment. He took advantage of a brief window of time to commit further atrocities.

The Hamas-led incursion into southern Israel on October 7th, 2023, resulted in the abduction of 251 hostages and the tragic deaths of approximately 1,200 people, the vast majority of whom were civilians.
