New Delhi: Batting first, Mohit Sharma conceded 31 runs in the last over of the innings. Delhi star Tristan Stubbs hit the ball for a six with a brilliant fielding. In the eventful match, Gujarat Titans eventually lost by just four runs.

Chasing a target of 225 runs, the Titans lost captain Shubman Gill for 6(5) in the second over. Sai Sudarshan 65(39) and Wriddhiman Saha 39(25) led the run chase with half-centuries. Azmatullah Omarzai 1(2), Shahrukh Khan 8(5) and Rahul Tewathia 4(50) who came later faded away.

David Miller, who scored 55 runs off 23 balls, and Rashid Khan, who remained unbeaten on 21 runs off 11 balls, struggled but eventually fell short by four runs. Raziq Dar Salam took three wickets and Kuldeep Yadav took two wickets for Delhi.

Earlier, Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant, who batted first, scored 88*(43) and Axar Patel scored 66(43). Tristan Stubbs, who was unbeaten on 26 runs from seven balls, also helped Delhi reach a huge score.

The embarrassing record of a bowler conceding the most runs in a single match in the IPL was held by Gujarat Titans bowler Mohit Sharma who conceded 73 runs in 4 overs. The player conceded 31 runs in the last over.
