New informational⁣ panels have been installed along the circular hiking trail surrounding the historic center of Carrara, Italy, and through its characteristic mountain villages, enhancing the experience for hikers and walkers. Enhancing the ‘Cammino di Aronte’ in Carrara

The project, a collaboration between the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Carrara, Fondazione Progetti, the Camera di Commercio Toscana Nord ovest, and the Comune di Carrara, aims to provide more than just directional guidance. It seeks to tell the story and legends of the territory. The trail consists ⁢of paths and white roads, many previously unknown, connecting the towns and villages surrounding Carrara.

Each panel serves as a guide, providing ancient⁤ and geographical information, highlighting cultural and scenic points of interest, and offering ‍insights into the local area. The design, by architects Gianna Bianchi and Virginia Neri, transforms the signs into visual manuals welcoming visitors and⁣ providing key information.

The signage incorporates the logo of the Siren, a representation ⁤of Mount Sagro, and stylized maps of the villages, blending myth and reality. ⁤Each panel
