F1 2026 Schedule: Dates & Times for All 24 Races Announced

Preparations are intensifying for the upcoming Formula 1 season, and the details for the⁤ 24 Grand Prix events of ⁤the 2026 championship have now been released, including ⁤dates and times ‍for each race. Interestingly, the total number of ⁢races across the calendar will reach 30 when ⁢you include the⁢ six sprint races scheduled to accompany⁤ the ‍main events.

the schedule ⁢will maintain the six sprint ⁣races, but these high-speed events will only return to two locations: China and Miami. Additional Grand Prix weekends featuring sprints will be⁣ held in Canada,the Netherlands,Singapore,and Great Britain. Meanwhile, Belgium, the United‍ States, Brazil ‍(Interlagos), and Qatar will revert to ⁢a traditional format with three practice sessions, qualifying,⁣ and the main race.

Formula 1 officials have announced a unique aspect of the upcoming season: ⁢two Grand Prix events are ⁣scheduled to take place on Saturdays. The ⁣Las vegas street circuit will host a night race on November 21st, and the Azerbaijan Grand Prix in Baku will also be held on‍ a Saturday,⁢ starting at 8:00 AM Argentina time on September 26th. Practice sessions will occur on the preceding Thursdays, with qualifying on Friday.

Promoters⁤ of ⁣the Baku race requested the schedule change due to September 27th being the Day of Remembrance in Azerbaijan, a day to commemorate those lost in the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

The racing season will officially kick off with testing at the Barcelona circuit from January 26th to 30th.Before ⁢the Australian Grand Prix in March, two ⁣additional pre-season races will be held in Bahrain: from February 11th to 13th and from February 18th to ‍20th.
